Message	They used european (ECE) spec E46 projectors - made by bosch. They're OEM on E46 code (3-series, m3) BMWs and Audi TTs. They charge an additional $50 for the ECE spec projectors (as opposed to DOT projectors). ECE projectors have wider light pattens, more color due to non fresnelled lenses, and have a sharper cutoff. The cost from illusionlighting would be $950 for this, and they require your old headlights, so you can't sell them and make back $200. Total difference in cost (them versus me) is about $300. Additionally, I put every set on my personal car and aim them before sending them out so that they're ready to drop in. They can't do this - in fact, the person who they did the set for that is shown on their site had to make further adjustments after they were delivered, due to improper alignment, and some visible mounting screws. I'm not sure how it all turned out, and I don't remember exactly who it was, but i did read about it, and it was a hassle that wouldn't have happened if i had done the job. My number one concern is quality, and providing retrofits only for the Z32 community. E46's do have less color than the TSXs -in fact, everything other than S2000s has less color than the TSXs.
